15 Popular Durga Puja Pandal ( Theme Based) 2018:
1. Barisha Sarbojonin:
Barisha Sarbojonin is one of the most popular pandals to hop into it. Like every year Barisha Sarbojonin is experimenting with the variety of themes this year too.
This year their theme is Akhono Manush. Gourango Kulia specially designed this theme.
2. Singhi Park:
In the 75 year celebration of Singhi park, they are recreating the Ambaji Temple Of Gujarat. The Gujarat Tourism board has been appointed to do the creation.
As Ambaji Temple belongs to the 51 Shakti Peethas, it attracts a large number of pilgrims to the temple of Banaskantha district of Gujarat.
Furthermore, we can hope it will happen concerning Singhi Park’s recreation also.
Tridhara Sammilani is similarly some of the pandals that keeps you waited for a year. This puja pandal is situated at the juncture of Rashbihari Avenue, Monoher Pukur Road, and Maha Nirban road.

Their pandal is likely to be a house of chariot which is made of 10 tonnes of silver. To make the pandal a magnificent effect they rose the pandal’s hight to 60ft and the saree that goddess Durga is wearing will be made of 30kg of Gold.
Shree Bhumi is the name that needs no introduction. Yes, a visit to Kolkata puja pandals remains unfulfilled without visiting it. This year Sree Bhumi is recreating Padmavat, the highly controversial movie in their puja pandal theme.
Romeo Hazra has designed it. Last year their pandal had recreated the theme of Bahubali and it became the star attraction amidst all puja pandals in the state.
Well, this Puja Mandap is at lake town and furthermore, you can take regular bus services from Sealdah..
College Square is located on college street and it is about 1.5 m long. Furthermore, the whole area is decorated with lights and looks stunning that nobody wants to miss out.

7. Dum Dum Park Tarun Sangha:
Dum Dum Park Tarun Sangha is located at south Dum Dum, Tank no 3. Whereas it is most famous for their innovation in themes.
This year their theme is Gansha , a child laborer who works as a tea seller. We can view a glimpse of his hazardous life.
8. Badam Tala Asar Sangha:
BadamTala Asar Sangha is a must palace to hop on. This year Badamtola Asar Sangha are presenting a theme called “ Sob Choritro Kalponik”.
They are conveying a social message through their theme. They are saying that the women in society should not be neglected and tortured by others.
Well, its nearest metro station is Kalighat. From there you can go there by 5 mins walk.
9. Desopriyo Park :
The most Spectacular Durga Puja of Kolkata has indeed belonged to Deshapriya Park. This year their theme is Raj Nandinir Rajmahal.
Rajnandini here refers to Devi Durga and her Rajmahal is the temple where she dwells. Hence Desopriyo park has always been a center of attraction for the visitors.
A large number of crowd gathers here to enjoy the creation made by them. Well to reach there you should go to the south section of Sealdah and from there you can take the bus service to Rashbihari Revenue.
10. Ek Dalia:
Ek Dalia evergreen throughout many years has been presenting many ancient art forms and world heritage replicas.
We see many of traditional temples there. They preserve the ancient form of Durga Pratima. Its nearest rail station is Baligaunge.
Bagbazar Sarbojanin belongs puja pandal to North Kolkata along with the river Ganga. It has been celebrating Durga Puja since a long period.
Hence Visitors can enjoy the puja traditionally. People can also enjoy carnivals in this place along with rides and a variety of foods.
12. Hindustan Park:
This puja pandal is quite famous for its innovative themes. This year is their 88th- year celebration and their theme is “ Abarta” which means the hazardous lifecycle which is full of competition and people have no time to enjoy.
This pandal belongs to the south Kolkata and it’s nearest metro station is Kalighat.
Kumartuli Park celebrates Durga Puja traditionally. Their piece of creation is of traditional Indian culture and Heritage.
So people from all part come here to visit this puja pandal. Kumartuli is a place from where hundreds of idols are sent to only each part of India but also in abroad.
Well, to reach this destination is quite easy, it’s nearest metro station is Shovabajar Shutanoti.
14.Nalin Sarkar Street Sarbojonin Durgotsab:
This puja committee has always presented a classical theme which correlates nature and heritage. While this year their theme is rather simple yet attractive.
Besides that, they added glory to the colorful yet sophisticated background. Whereas to reach there you can take metro services to Shyambazar.
15.Ahiritola Saarbojonin Durgotsab:
Ahiritola Sarbojonin Durgotsab Pandal is just adjacent to Kumutuli Park. explores cultural and social programmes along with their puja programmers.
Their thematic puja Pandals used to attract a massive number of visitors. While this year Ahiritola Sarbajonin’s theme is Ahiritola Rajbarir Anjalir Prostuti. This is their 79th-year celebration also.
Anjali Jeweller’s are decorating the deities with their ornaments. The renowned artist Tanmoy Chakrobarty designed the whole theme.
