The Most Beautiful Interior Design Stores Munich, Germany
Even though it’s the perfect apartment, it doesn’t feel like home yet. Or maybe you’re a tourist looking for a unique thing to remember your trip by? From furniture to finishing touches, these six home stores in Munich have everything you need to make your home look good on Instagram. There are many different styles, from pretty pastels to industrial.
Interior Design Stores Munich: #1 KARE Cityhaus
Store
Even if you don’t need a new couch, it’s fun to look around the store. Near Marienplatz, it’s a multi-story building with a women’s clothing store, a Vietnamese restaurant, and a terrace where you can relax after shopping. Think of old leather sofas and tables and chairs made of bare wood. This style is a mix of modern and almost royally traditional elements. The end product is different from the paintbox modernism of many other design shops.
Cairo Designstore
This modern hub for all things design is a great place to go if you want to add a splash of color to your life. On more than 1,500 square meters and several floors, they have desk chairs, lamps, and filing cabinets in a wide range of bright colors or classic black and white. They have design classics like the well-known Eames chairs, but they’re also not afraid to try new things like neon garden gnomes! There is even a section with outdoor furniture and an outdoor oven. Their new line of beautiful industrial concrete light shades is at the top of the wish list.
Stillhaus
Here is where you can find the perfect finishing touches. Stillhaus sells furniture like armchairs and colorful dining room chairs, but it’s their accessories that really set them apart. From pretty floral pillow covers and sample pots of beautiful pastel paints to the downright unusual (like a plastic parrot ready to sit on the arm of your sofa), it will make your new apartment look like it belongs in a magazine. It’s also great for giving gifts because there are so many cute cards and wrapping paper that you almost don’t want to use them.

SHU SHU
Store
Nothing in a home is too small for SHU SHU to pay close attention to. This modern store with a Japanese theme is all about simple designs for your home and your clothes. Set up like a museum, you can find everything from simple lampshades that can be arranged in three different ways to a paper towel holder that will make your bathroom look like it belongs in the Ritz. Where SHU SHU really shines is in the kitchen. This is the place for beautifully simple dishes or statement pieces to finish off the heart of the home.

Ligne Roset
This popular store for modern furniture has expanded to three locations in Munich. This is the place to go if you want a sofa that makes a statement. Its weird designs have shapes and colors that stand out, like curved 60s-style pieces and soft modern sofas that hold you while you watch Netflix. It was started by Antoine Roset in 1860, and it is still run by his family with a focus on high-quality, sustainable production.

BoConcept
Any city that cares about design needs a BoConcept store, and Munich is no different. The Danish company has been getting more and more popular, and its designs are best known for being simple. It was so popular in Germany that Mercedes-Benz and BoConcept worked together to make a car called the BoConcept Signature, which came out in 2013. The style is known for furniture with beautiful shapes and simple, block-like colors. One of their unique lamps has to be the most expensive thing you can buy here.
