Matsumoto Shave Ice is an essential part of O’ahu’s landscape and has become a symbol of shave ice in Hawai’i. It started as a grocery store in 1951 and has since become a beloved business, with over 1000 shave ice being served daily. If you’re in the mood for a traditional taste like vanilla, strawberry, and banana, or you want to be daring and try something like coconut cream or li hing mui, Matsumoto Shave Ice will surely please your sweet tooth.

Open daily from 9 a.M. To 6:30 p.M., Matsumoto Shave Ice is located at 66-111 Kamehameha Highway, Suite 605 in Haleʻiwa, and can be reached by phone at (808) 637-4827.

(Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the physical location of Island Vintage Shave Ice is closed, but take out orders are still available.)
